Pricing & Discounts
For specific unit pricing and discounts, see our Products & Pricing page. We offer two kinds of discounts, volume and retail. Volume discounts are limited to purchases not intended for resale and are calculated on a sliding percentage based on the total dollar amount of the order. The retail discount is for bookstores, retail stores, and other purchases for resale and is limited to a flat 15% discount off the single unit list price. Bookstores must order via telephone or fax (not the website) to obtain the discount. Prices, discounts and availability are subject to change.
For on-line orders, payment is made through PayPal, which securely accepts all major credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal payments. For all other orders, we accept payment by check, money order, Visa, Mastercard, or AmEx. We can also email you an electronic invoice which you can pay securely on-line using most major credit cards as well as by ACH bank transfer. We accept purchase orders from established U.S. based book stores.
When paying by check, make checks payable to "LegalPub.com, Inc." If you are paying an invoice, please note your invoice number on the check so that your account is properly credited. You are billed in U.S. dollars, and we request that you remit payment in U.S. currency with a check drawn on a U.S. bank. We reserve the right to assess our customers with collection charges for all other types of drafts.
Subject to the following exceptions, paperback books may be returned in salable condition within 30 days of the invoice date for a full credit or refund, less shipping and handling. We do not accept returns for the following: book store and retail store sales, sales with special pricing (i.e. outside the list pricing or discount pricing stated on the Products & Pricing page of our website), sales of books with customized covers or pages, and sales of books in electronic or pdf format. Please include a copy of the invoice or packing slip with all returns.
Requests for return of books that were received in damaged or defective condition must be made within 30 days of the invoice date. The subject books must be returned to LegalPub within 10 days thereafter. Remedy is limited to replacement with new books of the same title. For customized books received in damaged or defective condition, remedy is limited to replacement with new customized books of the same title, if available and on-hand, or if not, a refund of the amount paid to LegalPub for such books.
Purchasers of our annual books may elect to have an annual subscription. This may be done by checking the annual subscription box on the website product page (below the "add to cart" button), or on the order form or by otherwise notifying us. A notice of annual subscription is sent to each customer in October or November of each year. Unless we receive a notice of cancellation, books are shipped in January of each year and may be returned subject to our return policy. Subscription customers who are late or delinquent in payment may be removed from subscription status at the discretion of LegalPub.com, Inc.
*Note: subscriptions are not available for government or international orders.
